.:: Cameron Highlands With Familia ::.
Over the extended weekend, we drove up to Cameron Highlands together with my family. Its Ilyas' & Su Frostie's virgin trip there.Long winding road, cool weather and panoramic view has made this family time more eventful. Even lil Syafiq was enjoying the weather and Ilyas got excited as he had a chance to pick strawberries.
Dear Allah, I'm blessed to have such wonderful family... Alhamdulillah!
Oh btw, this song by Ahli Fiqir seems to be having so much air play during our trip there and besides that its one of my current favourites... :)

.:: R.I.P, Monster! ::.
Remember about my previous entry about Monster having problem with a broken axle shaft and was left at Kuantan?The parts came in, broken shaft replaced and was ready for collection by last weekend. Initially, Bebeh wanted to accompany Zul Big Bird to Kuantan to collect his rig. However, last minute he decided to take a coach there together with Yati instead.
While they left for Kuantan, the few of us went to East Coast for the kids and men to cycle and later on headed to Changi Village for dinner. At about 9.30pm, Zul called Bebeh to inform him that they have reached Mersing and heading home soon. As usual, the 2 of them were talking about Monster and even making some crude jokes. I remembered, Bebeh telling Zul to drive carefully and to call him when he has safely reached home.
Within a span of half an hour Zul called Bebeh again and we got the shock of our lives when he told Bebeh that he has met with an accident! Zul lost control to negotiate a sharp bend, did a 360 degree spin, hit the edge of the bend and Monster flipped twice! I recalled asking Bebeh frantically on Yati's condition and all of us were glad that they escaped with minimal injuries.
Plans of meeting up with them at the accident scene began to fall into place. Soon 4 cars drove up to Mersing to meet up with Zul and Yati, to assist them in whatever means they could. Bebeh went together with Norman and Yus while some of us remained on standby in Singapore.
I was listless and worried thinking about my friends and my memory flood gate was opened! It brought me back to 2 years ago of the nasty accident both Bebeh and I had at Laos. Again another couple in our circle of friends was given a second chance in life! I couldn't sleep and was watching TV while my mind wondered....
Then Zul called asking me to help out to source for towing services from Singapore which is able to tow Monster from causeway. Luckily Hairi wasn't asleep yet and communicated with him via MSN to assist me. From there everything went smoothly and Monster was brought into Singapore. Bebeh reached home close to 5am and I was yet to sleep.
On Sunday, went to IDAC at Portsdown to take a look at Monster. Almost couldn't believe it that both Zul and Yati escaped unhurt when I saw Monster's condition. Seems that Allah still love them, Alhamdulillah! Then visited them at SGH and the doctors have confirmed that they have no broken bones or any internal injuries. They were discharged later on in the evening.
During the time of adversity like this, it is very very obvious how united our friends are. We are always there for each other despite some lil internal conflicts of characters and attitudes which I believe is common in a group of people who bonds well. This is not the first time we are there for each other and this will also not be the last time, I swear!
However, looking at Monster's condition, it is beyond repair and likely it has reached the end of its journey.... Monster has always been our Su Frostie's sparring partner... they have travelled to places together and been great rigs to their owners. Monster will be missed greatly!

.:: A Lil Mis-Adventure @ Kampong ::.
Over the weekend, went back to Kampong together with Zul's and Abg Man's family.It was initially a 3 days trip which needed to be extended another night when Big Bird's Monster encountered a lil problem....
Monster's axle couldn't take it anymore and broke! Yes it broke...and its still at Kuantan waiting for parts to come in and likely will be ready by Saturday..
Problem started on the very first day when we reached our Kampong and were sourcing for hotels.
On 2nd day managed to squeeze 3 families into 2 cars and headed to Bukit Gambang Water Park for the kids to have some fun!
By the 3rd day, we checked out from Duta Sands Resort and checked into Fantasia Beach Resort for the last nite...And Din Beast stopped over for the nite to join us before he continued his solo ride the following day.
Even with lil hiccups we never fail to have fun especially when its at our own self declared kampong!

.:: Weekend's Dirt Play ::.
Yesterday, some of the 4x4's beasts or rather beauties were having a photoshoot with some models.The rest of us were chilling around and some were having a lil dirt play...
Later on, together with Yus & Zul's family, we didn't have enough of dirt play and headed somewhere else...which used to be an old cemetery with lots of durian trees nearby....

.:: Sweet Surprise & Long Weekend ::.
In the late afternoon, I received an MMS from Babe. The MMS was a photo of Su with a message from him saying "Babe, nice car ya :)"... I was surprised that he was actually at the carpark where I parked Su just to check her out. Called him and he said that he was passing by after work and decided to give Su a visit...haha!Its a sweet surprise to me, indeed...Awww...Ah la la la...hahaha! Anyway, I told him that Su is all scratched up due to the recent trail we had at TM and I've like 'banged' her bumper at our home carpark on Monday... Poor Su!
Its been a while I've not heard from that man and he seems to know or able to sense each time I'm about to give up on him! haha... *our pte joke*
Hokay, the long weekend has officially begun....and for once, believe it or not, we are not going anywhere! And that's so not of us....
Why? Coz on Monday, Bebeh is having his exams.... bleargh! Most of our friends are all out of Singapore either for riding, off-roading or simply a few days of getaway ... haiiizzz!
When I got back from work, Bebeh was like giving me his sad sappy face and asked if we wanna go for a short vacation...haha! Macam real aje....dia yang belum belajar... I'm cool and all set...but nah...I'd rather he stay at home and study.
So to the rest of you out there, enjoy the long weekend ya while boring old me is stuck in Singapore probably rotting at home, watching TV and surfing the internet....

Saturday @ Yesterday :We accompanied Zul Big Bird & his Actyon for a lil test drive at the normal 'playground' after the modifications done on his Monster...

Together with some guys from 4x4 we were suppose to be having this 'bird-watching' activity but we were most of the time busy following and watching the trail in front of us...

Seriously, it was a beautiful place and never did I expected that Singapore has this piece of gorgeous land...And driving through the trail, almost made me forgot that I was in Singapore....

.:: A Week Of Updates ::.
Hokay, I'm making this fast coz I'm tired and need to turn in early coz tomorrow is Monday already!Bleargh! :p
Together with Cik Nor & Zarah we went to Port Dickson for a short holiday. We left for PD on Monday. It was a short getaway before we send them off at KLIA on Wednesday. Over at PD, there was the sand and the sea but the sun was missing most of the time. Haiizz...
Then on Thursday, we received the good news that Ima, mys sis-in-law has safely given birth to a baby boy. Welcome to the world, Syafiq! May you be blessed with all the love and good health the world can offer you.
On Friday night, we joined SUVEC for some dirt play and its somewhere in Singapore... There were quite a number 4x4 cars that joined the fun....
And we returned to the place again with Zul Big Bird the following day to have more fun with dirt..hehe! The drizzle didn't really dampen our moods...
As for today, we made last minute plans with Yus and Zul, we went to Desaru for more dirt play! 3 consecutive days of dirt play has definately dirtied Su but it was worth it... More dirt plays to come....
I've yet to post pics in Multiply but there are some pics in my Facebook a/c though...
Hokay, I'm done...and I'm turning in... Goodnite peeps!

I've got tonnes of stuff to clear....and mostly its work! arghh!I've got to clean up my love nest as my aunt from Canada is coming soon... double arrghh!
And what's with this song, Camelia by Irwanshah? I kept hearing this song on air and especially each time I'm with Su ....haha...
Its Su not Camelia lah.... hahahah!
Ok I'm talking crap over here but seriously, each time I'm with Su, this song is played on air! Betol, tak bedek....
Anyway, had a quick 'breather' earlier... I'm crappy today, since it was Monday while someone was bored....Thx Babe... *winkz*
Beware of my cranky mood from 7 Mar till 15 Mar coz my 'right-hand and left-hand' friends won't be around to entertain me like always... One will be having a blast at a Full Moon Party at Koh Phangan while the other is drooling, watching her idol, her Mr Right's concert over at Taiwan!
And boring old me will be stuck at office working my arse off! Pfft!

.:: Subaru @ Desaru ::.
We have saved enough to hit our $2 mark, which we were lacking off all these while and yes, we've gotten ourself a new ride recently...hehe!Hopefully with this new ride, it will bring us and Ilyas to wonderful places, just like what FD6S has done...and Hell no, we have not given up riding! Don't worry... "Su" is just an addition to our family...hehe!
Yesterday, together with Yus & Ida, we headed to Desaru after pumping petrol at JB...and its totally unplanned, hokay?
It was fun...had lunch at the restaurant of Desaru Golf Resort and later had a lil bit of offroad, near the beach.... Took a couple of pics before heading back to Singapore...
