.:: Been A While... ::.
The new layout & dashboard looks kinda alien to me... That shows I haven't been blogging in here for quite a while...Busy is my middle name and that explains my hiatus in here. There was a recent team reshuffling and suddenly my team grew overnight.
On the job training is what I can afford to offer them at the moment. Like today, I felt like getting a queue system for my team members and managers. "Get a number and Yani will attend to your queries!" Grrr....
Welcome to my team as nothing is fixed and like what one of my managers love to quote, "Our job is an art, not a science!"
Cases may seem similar but they are unique on its own... so to the newbies, my advice for them is to be more flexible yet firm when need to and be compassionate... Our aim is to strike a balance.
Enough about work... I'm all excited for our Sabah vacation. A month more to go.... and its been a while we have not gone for any vacation or road trips... Sounded pathetic kan? haiizzz... so not of us... but its okay... June, please come quick!
I realised my past few entries, I kept mentioning about how busy my life with work. Boring old me... where's all the excitement I used to have? Hmmm... nothing much to share nowadays. Unlike those days when there's places to blog about and pictures to post whenever we are having road trips.
My passion has gone kaput. Photography doesn't interest me like I used to. My riding gears are collecting dust in the wardrobe. I guess, everything just died down slowly ever since FD6S has gone.... Sad huh? I hope this is just temporary. Once Bebeh pick up riding again, that lively person in me will be back again.... Insya Allah!

.:: Attn : Mr Multistrada a.k.a Mr Yek ::.
2nd entry for the night. This one is more on a cheerio mood and doesn't deserve to be shared together with that earlier entry full of anguish! Hehe!This one goes out to you, Mr Multistrada a.k.a Mr Yek....
You seemed to be back, out of nowhere, stalking my blog again huh?
Since when you've obtained access to surf the net from your office again? I thought it was restricted?!
Or is it from other available connection? Hmmm... I can't seem to locate your IP address and probably from a secured network huh? Benci ar! :p
Anway, I'm ecstatic that at last you've gotten your dream bike after the long wait and yes, you've succeeded in making me jealous.....
You've made me miss FD6S all over again when I saw you riding that red Multistrada the other day...
And yes, I'm mentioning it again and this time officially in my blog that the sound of that Multistrada is such a turn on.... oh hell yeah! hehe!
Please tell your partner, she's one lucky pillion, hokay!
Hey, with a powerful ride like that, please conquer the road and travel the world! 1000km day ride is way behind your league... Pick a new challenging route will ya?! hehe!
But remember, safety comes first... when you see enticing corners, get down your bike and push through the bends ya?! Lol! *personal joke*

.:: I'm Sane Again! ::.
Being on a bike .... feeling the wind against me and with music blasting from my IPod has always given me the time to rewind and reflect, while my rider and bike are zooming past familiar routes..That is like one of the very few moments which I can really think and ponder... seriously... I've been always doing it when we go for rides... and those moments which make me very very sane and very grounded to reality...
Those are my private moments to myself where I can think about everything and anything which needed to be sorted out or planned or to work on...
So being missing from riding for more than a year has absolutely done quite a handful of damage to my emotions and thoughts lately...hehe! I got rusty in the head....and my heart was roaming aimlessly...
When I get the privilage to ride again last weekend, it never felt so good...even though we got soaked in sweat and later on drenched in the pouring rain. I felt like being resurrected from the the dead!
Therefore, I would very very much want to ride more often even if it means borrowing friends' bikes to do that till FD6S is ok to hit the road again....This is just to get my sanity back or rather retain my sanity... coz if not, Ms Hyde is definitely gonna take full control and Mrs Jekyl will be so dumped and left to rot at a corner.... And I don't want that to happen!

.:: Bitch, Moan & Whine (BMW) ::.
I'm not too sure on where to start and how to end.... Let's just say I'm in a mess... ? Juz lemme ramble a couple of stuff here to let off steam, hokay?I've seemed to lose the drive and excitement when comes to work... seriously... and I've been dragging myself to work almost every other day... My team mates are fine... But the mundane feeling has set in too deep. I'm demoralised by work etiquette of people whom we depend on and it has probably caused this topsy turvy feeling about work.
My passion in photography and posting photos online has gone down the drain too.... Well that's almost kaput! I did take some photos during the Hari Raya season and believe it or not, I've yet to upload them to my lappie, let alone upload online! Bringing the camera almost everywhere but never really has that excitement to snap shots like I used to.
Nowadays I feel so physically tired, emotionally battered and mentally unstable! Felt something amiss in my life at the moment... Dunno what's that though... *sigh* Could it be the long absence of pillion riding FD6S? Probably.... That bike has been gone too long from my life that it has ripped a part of me....and left me hollow and empty! FD6S, please get well soon.... I need you to make me feel sane again!
Lately, I feel so strongly that there is a Jekyll and Hyde in me... but then again, aren't those 2 characters do exist in each and every one of us? Its just a matter if Hyde's character is suppressed well enough before it takes controll over Jekyll's role fully. Personally, I feel that Jekyll and Hyde have to strike a balance in us, depending on situation and that will add more colours to our life... Don't you think so? Hmmm....
Oh ya, I did mention earlier that I'm emotionally battered... Yes and I've given up trying in whatever means to resolve my emotional turmoil.... I'm just letting it be and come what may.... I'm going with the flow and juz bring it on!.... Resistance is not in my blood.... not this one, for now... But I've sort of figured out when its time to move on.... Now is not the time... yet!
Anyway, sometimes I do wonder about myself.... Life has been treating me alright.... So far, so good, Alhamdulillah I'm thankful.... Meanwhile, I've got frens and family members who are in deeper shit than myself but yet they seemed much stronger than I do.... So why the hell am I complaining so much?
Howell... I'm only human and at times I do need to Bitch, Moan and Whine... B.M.W... Get it? Hehe...

.:: Enduro Ride 08 - The Accident ::.
A year has passed and it seems only like yesterday...Click here for some of the photos taken after the accident.
Our friends decided not to post it but instead Yus compiled it for us into a CD, giving us full privacy and I've decided to post it on the 1 year anniversay of the Enduro Ride 08...
On 16 Jan 08, the accident that has changed part of my life. It happened on a late afternoon, around 4pm, Spore time...Just at the 55km mark to Thakek, Laos.
I couldn't really recall what happened but Din told us that FD6S did a somersault, after Bebeh & I were flung from it!
Fatigue took the toll and maybe its just a reason to change our lives forever. But I'm very thankful and glad that I'm still in one piece, except missing a spleen that has ruptured and some broken/cracked bones! :)
Thanks to the rest of the riders and pillions who rendered help till professional medical assistance arrived the following day to transfer us to Bangkok, Thailand.
Special thanks to Din Manager @ Din Cambodia whose vast knowledge on first aid and rescue mission was put to good use.
Not forgetting my sis-in-law, Ima @ Chomel who puts her nursing skills at test when we were at Thakek Hospital which lacks of medical facilities (prior to the transfer to Bangkok).
And here's the video taken by Ida, while we were lying by the roadside, minutes after the accident.

I miss checking out the side view mirrors or looking out for fellow riders & pillions...
I miss taking photos or videos of fellow riders & pillions while riding...
Its been 10 long months since we last rode FD6S...
Its been a long wait and hope that its worth waiting for FD6S' comeback...
No, FD6S is not ready anytime soon but whatever it takes, we'll wait for him...
The day will come.... insya Allah

.:: A Day With Bebeh ::.

Sunday, 13 July 2008
.:: In Sync ::.
Yesterday, Bebeh went to meddle his bike again and when he was back in the evening, he was beaming...
He told me that the engine could be started! Whoa... the sound of the engine must be music to his ears! Welcome back FD6S!! Alhamdulillah....
At night, we headed to Rezki for dinner with some friends and for the first time in months, I left the house without wearing any support to my left angkle! Alhamdulillah again...
So Bebeh, your ride and your pillion are in sync when comes to recovery ya?... :)
I miss doning the riding gear and I miss riding but wait, before that I think we need to do some shopping...
The helmet was badly scrapped and my riding gears were being snipped/ripped/cut off when I was being attended at Bangkok Medical Centre....
Bebeh, bila nak pi shopping? Ahakz...

.:: Our Baby Is Back! ::.
After the series of calls & arrangements made with our friend, Om at Bangkok and plus all the hassle of paperworks & clearance over at Singapore, at last, our baby, FD6S is BACK on April Fool's Day....!
We miss you, FD6S and we're glad that you are back, although not in one piece...
Our dear FD6S is back in one big crate and thanks to all of our friends who have lend a hand to assist Bebeh.... Thanks for the pushing, pulling, huffing & puffing to ensure that the crate is placed at Alex's shop.
More pics at Bebeh's site
So what's next? I suppose, FD6S road to recovery will be a long one, just like mine but Bebeh & friends are optimistic....he'll survive, insya Allah....
Then, with a brand new look, we hope you'll bring us to beautiful roads like this one
Or maybe with rugged terrains like this again, one day
And with friends who will ride with us searching for memorable journeys together, insya Allah....
