.:: Time To Say Goodbye ::.

We've had our moments together for the past 2 years or so....You and me were inseparable when there's action around us....There were days when I held you tight and us going against the wind....

You were with me when I was involved in an accident and there I was lying by the roadside, concerned about you, I asked about your condition when I regained consciousness...And later I learnt that 2 of my ribs cracked because of you too...hehe! But all that didn't matter as long as we both survived the great impact!

Like any relationships, there were times we've had our bad days like when I exposed you too much to the rain and you decided to go bonkers on me, and there were moments when I want to capture, your battery was too tired and went 'flat' on me.

But most of the time, you've never failed me. You were there for me when I was with my family and friends....always ready to capture the memorable moments...like for instance

During my family bonding outings or vacations...

Or during our secret moments at places where your presence was not allowed...

And during exciting moments like this.....

Or even 'close' shots like this....

However all good things come to an end and the time for me to say goodbye has arrived.... I'll be seeing less of you but you'll never be forgotten...

Thank you and goodbye....

Hello and welcome....

I'm looking forward to 'us' and hope our relationship will be even better....

.:: Masih ::.

Ok, Masih by Flop Poppy is back on my blog.... Yes, the only song which has made 2nd appearance... hahaha...

Dunno when will I be able to get over with this song when there's always this strong influence from a friend on this song...

This song goes way back in 2006, I think... when this friend of mine wanted it and I gave together with some other tracks from the same band....

Then early this year the same friend requested for the song again citing reasons that he was posted to a different office and did not have a copy of the song plus other tracks from Floppy Poppy.

To cut the story short, he got his 'Masih' plus others only when I was back in office on May and since then 'Masih' was like a daily must for me....thanks to my friend...haha....

Seriously, I don't know why he's so into 'Masih' but I know its special to him....

To me, this song reminds me of him and how our friendship evolved especially over the past few months, nothing related to the lyrics, though.... please don't get mistaken....Oh yes, we've known each other way back, more than a decade ago, zaman2 anak abu dulu.... hehe...

From someone whom I know very little of, to someone who was there for me especially during my road to recovery after the accident early this year.... Btw, he didn't do much except for irritating or/and entertaining me with his crappy smses, phonecalls or emails almost on every other day when he's free! Hahaa...

Sometimes, a turn of event can you lead you to wonderfull surprises huh? Yes, he's a God-sent to me just like some of my other friends who have been there for me when I was at a downfall at certain points in my life and subsequently they moved on after a while...

I guess, I'll have 'Masih' to hang on to and to remind me of in the near future when we've both moved on without realising or wanting it to happen...

Ah la la la.... :)

.:: Man Of His Words ::.

Last weekend I've made a deal with Ilyas.

I allowed him to buy something from the provision shop upon his endless whining while he has to sleep alone in his room starting from this week onwards. Oh yes, all these while Ilyas has been sleeping in our room, except on weekends when he sleeps with our maid.

I knew that he badly wanted to go to the provision shop and without much thinking, he sealed the deal with a handshake.

So yesteday, we reminded him of the deal he has made with me and we even went to shop for night lights to be placed in his room. When bedtime arrived, without much coaxing he went to his room and after tucking him in bed, he even requested us to close his bedroom door.

Initially, Bebeh wanted to accompany him till he fall asleep but I told him not to start a habit which we may not be able to keep and we ended up leaving his room after he has settled in. I told Bebeh not to put too much hope and even prepared his mattress in case he decided to run into our bedroom late at night.

This morning when we woke up, to our pleasant surprise, our son has kept his words and slept soundly through out the night, alone in his room.

Dear Ilyas, both Ibu & Abah are very proud of you. You are definately, a man of your words. Keep up the good work, son!

.:: Sunday's Update ::.

Its Sunday and I can't believe it myself that I'm up and awake this early! Bebeh has gone out to send Ilyas for his swimming lesson while I'm here blogging away and sipping a cup of hot tea. Ahakz!

Yes, almost a week of absence from blogging... told ya I was experiencing 'writer's block'! Plus, there wasn't much to blog about for this week except for I've been slogging my arse off at work... which is nothing new.. bah!

Oh yes, news is out that we'd be shifting workstation soon and the new one is currently in the installation & reconfiguration process.... This would be the 3rd time I'll be shifting workstation over the period of 6yrs since we shifted to the new building. I'm not really looking forward coz the new location has got no view at all! Bleargh...yes, no window = no view! And I can't imagine if I'm working late, all alone....Gosh! Let's just wait and see how things goes ya...

So what else? Hmmm...yes I've got tonne of stuff to clear at work plus my appraisal is due to be submitted soon and I've yet to start on it....and yes, looking forward to my upcoming family vacation. Hopefully being away from work and from Singapore will do me some good. Maybe some fresh air, a lil bit of shopping and being in a 'Wonderland' will inspire and motivate me for the brand new year!

.:: I Miss... ::.

I miss FD6S...

I miss donning the riding gears...

I miss riding...

I miss feeling the wind against me while I'm listening to my favourite tunes in IPOD....

I miss the excitement of maneuvering corners & bends together with Bebeh & FD6S...

I miss checking out the side view mirrors or looking out for fellow riders & pillions...

I miss taking photos or videos of fellow riders & pillions while riding...

Its been 10 long months since we last rode FD6S...

Its been a long wait and hope that its worth waiting for FD6S' comeback...

No, FD6S is not ready anytime soon but whatever it takes, we'll wait for him...

The day will come.... insya Allah

*sigh*

.:: Have You Ever... ::.

Have you ever felt alone in a room full of familiar faces?

Have you ever felt phobia of tripping and falling?

Have you ever felt pain every single day?

Have you ever felt that there is so much to tell but you've got no one to share it with?

Have you ever felt like a fool?

Have you ever?...

.:: A Day With Bebeh ::.

Today was Dating Day with Bebeh.

After sending Ilyas at my parents' we run an errand and by then it was almost lunch time. Brought him to Charco's at Ang Mo Kio and we had delicious set of ribs....

Bebeh then asked Big Bird and family to join us for lunch as we were heading to KKH to visit Yati after that.

Big Bird @ our food tester later confirmed that place can be recommended to the rest of the gang...hehe!

Before going to KKH we dropped by Alex's shop and I've gotten my chance to see FD6S. He's still 'recuperating' and yes, miss FD6S badly! Dapat tengok kejap jadilah....

We then headed to KKH to visit Zul & Yati's lil bundle of joy.... Their baby girl weighs a hefty 3.79kg!

Welcome to the Hoon clan, Baby "ND"! :)

.:: Happy Hour ::.

Today stayed late again...

As usual after 6pm is happy hour where I'd turn up the volume of my playlist... I was even caught off guard by my colleague singing along to some of the songs from my playlist.... haha...

Since Ramadan and Syawal are long gone, 'Happy Hour' has resumed...but seems that nowadays things are much under control.... and hopefully, it will stay that way....

As Bebeh is back to school, my 'Happy Hour' slots are sort of fixed on every Monday and Wednesday... for instance, on Monday, wanted to stay late to work but ended up, together with Kuniang & Fad @ Minah Kilang we chatted and catch up with each other.... And its at the comfort of my workstation..

Just look at them, squatting down and almost trying to squeeze under my table when we saw our Deputy Director doing his round 'shoo-ing' off his staff who worked late.... hehe..

.:: Moments To Share ::.

A couple of weeks ago, when I was kinda down, my colleague who sat near me gave me this.... I guess I'm pretty sucks at hiding my emotional side, huh?

So much truth in this and its is not my first time receiving such emails which at times, I find comfort reading it when I'm low in spirits....

~*~*~

Sometimes people come into your life and you know right away that they were meant to be there... to serve some sort of purpose, teach you a lesson or help figure out who you are or who you want to become. You never know who these people may be but you lock eyes with them, you know that very moment that they will affect your life in some profound way.

And sometimes things happen to you at the time that may seem horrible, painful and unfair, but in reflection you realize that without overcoming those obstacles you would never realize your potential, strength, will power or heart.

Everything happens for a reason. Nothing happens by chance or by means of luck. Illness, love, lost moments of true greatness and sheer stupidity all occur to test limits of your soul.

Without these small tests, life would be like a smoothly paved, straight, flat road to nowhere safe and comfortable but dull and utterly pointless.

The people you meet affect your life. The successes and downfalls that you experience can create whom you are, and the bad experiences can be learned from. In fact they are probably the most poignant and important ones. If someone hurts you, betrays you or breaks your heart, forgive them because they have helped you learn about trust and the importance of being cautious to whom you open your heart.

If someone loves you, love them back unconditionally, not only because they love you, but also because they are teaching you to love and open your heart and eyes to little things. Make everyday count. Appreciate everything that you possibly can, for you may never experience it again.

Talk to people whom you have never talked to before, and actually listen. Let yourself fall in love, break free and set your sights high. Hold your head up because you have every right to.

Tell yourself you are a great individual and believe in yourself, for if you don't believe in yourself, no one else will believe in you. Create your own life and then go out and live it.

"If you take your eyes off your goals, all you see is obstacles."
