.:: Yesterday ::.
Yesterday, went for my therapy at SGH and I was given the 'green light' by my therapist to attend once a week instead of twice weekly sessions. Alhamdulillah I've made consistent progress with the recovery of my hand.After therapy, headed to Novena Square to have lunch with my team. Its a farewell lunch for my boss who's leaving our company by end of April. Lunch was at Bali Thai, serving a mixture of Indonesian and Thai cuisines. Thanks to my Unit Head (Big Boss) who gave a treat to all of us.
Ok, sorry peeps, this time round there's no mouth watering pics to show the food which I've had coz, believe it or not, I've totally forgotten to take out my camera to snap pics. My short term mermory loss must have been caused by the delicious food and plus I was busy catching up with my colleagues on office matters! Hahaha....
My team was anxious to know when I could return back to work since my boss is leaving and we have recently launch a new system which needs loads of monitoring. So I've sort of told them that I will be back on 9th May 08, which is only next week, yikes! My Dr's review is on the 8th May 08 & its the last day of my current MC. Even if the Dr is gonna give me MC, I'm still gonna start work the very next day.
I feel that I'm strong enough to go back to work & my team needs me & plus I'm getting rusty...hehe! I've had enough of enjoying life as a temporary Tai-tai, although most of the time I was like a Tai-tai in pain! Ahakz....
So no more lazing around at home, watching tv & surfing the internet like nobody's business...It's time to get my arse back to the work force & face stress all over again....

.:: Tea Time & Gossip Hour ::.
Its been a while me & my buddies have not gone out together for a makan session. So today, they took half day leave and met up with me at Orchard Road, right after my therapy at SGH.
We had our warm up session over a cup of hot chocolate and some cakes at McCafe before proceeding to Carousel for high tea.
It was my first visit to Carousel (previously known as Cafe Vienna) after they had their make-over. Can't help feeling that the ambience is almost similar to Straits Kitchen.
It was nice to meet up with my friends and gossiping while having delicious food at Carousel and yes, we've already made plans for our next makan session in June....

.:: Saturday & Sunday ::.
How's your weekend, peeps? Mine was busy with sending Ilyas for his swimming lesson at Woodlands Swimming Complex. I like the location of swimming complex as it is close to nature.
We then went to Downtown East to celebrate Eshan's 1st birthday bash. Together with my family from my maternal side, we had delicious food and a great time chatting. We were supposed to wear purple to match the party's theme but since the only purple outfit we have are the baju kurungs, we didn't follow the colour code. Tak kan nak pegi BBQ pakai baju kurung, kan? Hehe...
Happy 1st Birthday Eshan aka Mr Curly Wurly.
May you have a blissful life ahead, insya Allah.
On Sunday, together with Ally's family we visited Fathma who has safely given birth to a healthy baby boy. Congrats to the proud parents.
Welcome to the world Syed Omar Shariff!

.:: Our Baby Is Back! ::.
After the series of calls & arrangements made with our friend, Om at Bangkok and plus all the hassle of paperworks & clearance over at Singapore, at last, our baby, FD6S is BACK on April Fool's Day....!
We miss you, FD6S and we're glad that you are back, although not in one piece...
Our dear FD6S is back in one big crate and thanks to all of our friends who have lend a hand to assist Bebeh.... Thanks for the pushing, pulling, huffing & puffing to ensure that the crate is placed at Alex's shop.
More pics at Bebeh's site
So what's next? I suppose, FD6S road to recovery will be a long one, just like mine but Bebeh & friends are optimistic....he'll survive, insya Allah....
Then, with a brand new look, we hope you'll bring us to beautiful roads like this one
Or maybe with rugged terrains like this again, one day
And with friends who will ride with us searching for memorable journeys together, insya Allah....

.:: Batam ::.
Last Sunday, together with my family, we went to Batam to visit my uncle's cosy home at Bukit Suria Indah.
It was just as day trip. His house is so cosy and just nice for him & my aunt. We then went for a little shopping trip at a local fruit market, DC Mall & Megamall before heading back in the evening...
Oops! No photos were taken when we were busy shopping! Hehehe...
