.:: Raya Sakan Wif Frens ::.
We continued with our Raya visits after the short retreat. Started on Friday night by going to Ally's crib. Had dinner there with some frens and only left almost at 3am...
On Saturday afternoon, Raya visits continue to some of our frens' places and again it only ended close to 3am.... Can't help it when you are with good company.
Then on Sunday, went to my old fren, Jali's abode to meet up with some of my old skool frens for lunch. Sorry guys, only managed to join you at Jali's. I'll make it up to you some other time, hokay?
We then rushed to Jurong to meet Bebeh's old skool frens. In between of our Raya visit, dropped by at Midah's place to congratulate her on her engagement. And yes, yesterday, we were back to our own crib before 11pm!

.:: Back From Therapy... ::.
Hi peeps! I'm back.... yes, back from my so-called therapeutic retreat...hehe!As much as most of you have guessed, together with some frens, we went to Sepang to watch the MotoGP.
Similarly, like last year, we stayed at Port Dickson. This time round decided to try out the much talked about resort, Tiara Beach Resort. If you asked me, its nothing fancyful except for the pools which kids love! Stayed there for 2 nights and only on the last day when the kids gotto enjoy the pool...
So here's a short video of my 'therapy'.... the sight was a therapy to my eyes and the sound of the engines, esp the 800cc was like music to my ears.....walaupon mcm nak pekak aku dibuatnya! Haha...
The only disappointment was that Rossi wasn't on podium but he's still second on overall scoreboard, behind the newly crowned King, Casey Stoner....

.:: Therapeutic Retreat ::.
After this short retreat we shall resume with our hari raya visits to our friends' homes, next weekend.
This much needed getaway is sort of like a 'detox' for us from all the hari raya food & air oren....hehehe!
So once again, the luggage is packed and we are leaving tomorrow. Will be back by Monday, insya Allah and do stay tune for updates!

.:: 1hb - 3hb Syawal ::.
First day of Aidilfitri is always packed with visiting older relatives.... We visited 13 houses! Most of them are families from my paternal side.
This time round, besides my old man's Toyota Wish, we rented a 12-seater van to ferry us around.
Then second day of Syawal, its time to visit families from Bebeh's side....and together with BIL, SIL & Mang Pari's family. In total, we visited about 9 homes...still can't beat the first day's record....hehehe!
Third day of Syawal, was similar like the day before...9 house visits and by the end of the day, we were quite tired.

.:: I Can See Clearly Now... ::.
Here's my link to my blog over at blogger....This virgin entry was the beginning of my journey in the blogging world....It was writen 2 years ago..when I had corneal ulcer and was hospitalised for 5 days.

Then a year later, Bebeh's fate was worst than mine, he gotto undergone a corneal transplant, not once but twice coz the first one didn't suit him...Now, he's on eyedrops and need to visit his doctor on every other month...and it was contact lens or maybe the multi-purpose solutions which caused his misery....
I began to resume wearing contact lens again about a year ago when Bebeh decided to ride after he recovered from the corneal transplant. But I've decided to stick to daily disposable type....However, my gut feeling or phobia is always there each time I wear the contact lenses...I don't want history to repeat!
After mustering enough courage and enough cash (hehe), I've decided to go for LASIK. I've approached the doctor who previously treated me and Bebeh for her opinion. After several tests, I was a suitable candidate for LASIK. However, I was taking a risk as Dr Chan was saying that my old scar is still visible and she was not sure if it will affect the procedure of LASIK.
Anyway, after about 5 minutes of consideration, I decided to go thru with LASIK as I have got nothing to lose, except for the money...I wouldn't know if I didn't try, rite? Alhamdulillah everything went well. The LASIK procedure was less than 10 minutes for each eye and .... I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW!
Why LASIK? I was an avid contact lens wearer for 13years before the mishap and when I got back to glasses, the itch to wear contact lens is always there and true enough within a year I got back to contact lens. Although I wore them only during riding or on special occasions, the phobia feeling is always there and to think long term....daily disposable lenses aren't cheap...and another factor is, yes, I'm a VAIN POT but so what?
Anyway, the point is... I CAN SEE CLEARLY NOW and its all that matters!
