.:: Update ::.
Hey you! Been a while I've not updated this blog of mine... *Blows the dust and cobwebs around..*Been super busy with work... the usual stuff! Same old shit on different days.... hehe!
There's nothing much happening lately and yes the school break has just begun and we are not going to any short getaways! Can you believe it? Nah, its ok coz we are saving up to go to Sabah in June with the crazy bunch. That's something I'm so looking forward to.
Bebeh has been on shift work for a couple of months already and I'm beginning to get the hang of it. We'd normally try to have time for each other by going on occasional date nights, just catching up over frappuccino or even just snuggling in front of the telly. Marriage needs effort and this is what we have been doing at the moment. There's room for improvement to spend time with each other... But so far, alhamdulillah. When it gets too long being apart and only having to see each other when the other is asleep, it made us appreciate each other even more.
This year, Ilyas is in Primary 4 and he's doing fine in school. Being a prefect for the 2nd year and he is active in the school's rugby team. Frankly, I don't really push him on his studies at the moment. With having to attend Madrasah, tuition & swimming lessons, I think its enough to take up much of his time. He knows that pressure is on him only when its near the exam period where I'd monitor his school work and revisions closely. For now, I want him to have a childhood, a memorable one that is.
As for myself, work of late is getting much under control. Time management is something I'm not good at but I know I can improve in that particular department. Recently, the open appraisal was carried out and I'm quite surprised with my performance rating as I as just promoted last year. I'm thankful that my boss recognizes my efforts at work and hopefully I can do better in the near future.
Well of course, there are times when I experience bad hair days at work but with friends like Juju, B, Cik & Lolita around, they made those days slightly smooth sailing...
