.:: Silent Tears & The Promise ::.

It was raining heavily at night.
A couple sat quietly in their vehicle while the husband drove along the wet highway.
Usually, the beginning of each weekend was something they look forward to but that night, a friend whom they longed to meet wasn't there.
Unsure of their friend's final fate, they cried silently.
Tears seem to be their only comfort at that moment and their mood was sombre, just like the weather.

*~*~*

In the wee hours before dawn breaks, two friends made a solemn promise to each other.
Come what may, they have vowed never to give up on each other.
They will standby and protect their friendship which they have barricaded with trust, love and respect for each other.
Deep in their hearts, more than ever determined to proof to the other that their promise is meant to be kept forever.

.:: Never Been Perfect ::.

Today, work started at the new workstation. Not really, looking forward working there coz the office looks kinda dark and gloomy. I hate it coz there's no windows at all and being a visual person, I felt clastrophobic!

The past few days weren't that okay for me. I miss somone....I know Bebeh misses that someone too... But life has to go on. Each time, the person's name was mentioned, it brought tears to my eyes and there's a heavy tug in my heart. It seems everything and everywhere reminded us of him and that wasn't easy for us.

For all we care and irregardless of his wrong-doings, our friend has always been there for us, especially at times when we were down. That was enough to prove his friendship to us coz we know, not many friends can do that but he did. For now, its only silent prayers that we can offer for his well-being till things are settled. This time round, we'd like to offer our sincerity of our friendship by being there for him instead. We may not be able to offer much except that we'll wait patiently, no matter how long it takes for his 'return' to us, his family and friends.

I've changed the song to this blog again and a friend suggested Linkin Park's "Leave Out All The Rest", the OST from the movie, "Twilight". And when I saw the lyrics, I'm close to tears again or in fact, I've cried.... yes, it meant something....reminded me of my friend whom I miss....especially when I read these verses of the song...

"When my time comes, forget the wrong that I've done
Help me leave behind some reasons to be missed
Don't resent me, and when you're feeling empty
Keep me in your memory, leave out all the rest

Leave out all the rest, don't be afraid
I've taken my beating, I've shared what I made
I'm strong on the surface, not all the way through
I've never been perfect, but neither have you"

:(

p.s - To the other friend who suggested this song, thx ya... Belakang, boleh? :)

.:: Endau Rompin ::.

On Christmas, together with some friends, we went for a drive to Endau Rompin.

Initially, the plan was an all boys nite out but it turned out to be a family outing when the chalets were closed during the rainy season.

3 machines, namely, a Forrester, an Actyon and a Rexton went for a virgin drive to Endau Rompin...

Thx to Zul & Yus for giving our family a chance to experience cool rides on their brand new machines...

.:: Another Level ::.

I'm almost done with packing stuff from my workstation. The day to shift has been scheduled next week...not too sure if target can be met.

Hey, I'll miss sitting close to Fad and Kuniang...but I hope this 'seperation' will not harm the bond of our friendship....coz like it or not...things won't be the same again.... but I'm hoping that distance will make the hearts grow fonder *pukes* haha...

In future, if we are working late, I won't be able to have my karaoke sessions and happy hour with them anymore coz we are located in different wings! Haiizzz.....But ladies, you are always welcome to hide under my table anytime, hokay? Hehe...

Anyway, moving on.... still on the topic about friends and stuff, somebody called me and shared with me something personal that had happened earlier today. Not only just that, but also about my friend's past which was related to the incident earlier and I'm so-called the only one, my friend had shared with....

To my friend, thanks for sharing and trusting me. Frankly speaking, I'm honoured and felt that this has brought our friendship to another level.... Seriously, I don't know what made my friend wanna share with me about personal stuff and matters of the heart but I guess, it goes all the way back to trust again.

Hope that you will be able to stay focus and if meeting up would just means catching up and getting answers which you are longing for, then why not? I've always believed that things happened for a reason. If for whatever reasons, things go wrong, I'll be there for you... Like you've always said, I'm the best, remember? hehe....

Hokay, enuf of mushy friendship stuff.... need to sleep and for once, tomorrow I'll wake up late since I'm on PM shift while someone else need to be early for duty.... hehe....

Goodnite peeps, sleep tight and don't let the bed bugs bite! Yikes, its just a rhyming thingy...there's no bugs on my bed ya...

.:: Mixtures Of Emotions ::.

This entry is definately showcasing my mixtures of emotions...So here goes... and don't worry, I'm not confused and I'm still sane...so don't worry! hehe...

How's life after Hong Kong?

B.O.R.I.N.G! Hehe... In order to move on, I've changed the song in my blog...initially, couldn't think of any song, so got someone to text me a song title which came into his mind...hehe! Nampak sah kitorang takde keje kan?

My mind is not back on track yet... I'm missing Hong Kong especially the cool weather...Hokay, how many times have I mentioned that? Kuniang & Fad are getting sick hearing me saying it practically everyday! hahaha....On a lighter note, I'm looking forward to our lunch date on Christmas Eve and its been eons since the 3 of us had proper lunch together gather. Furthermore, we will be working on the afternoon shift on Christmas eve.

Btw, have I mentioned that likely, by next week I'll be shifting to my not-so-new workstation...why not-so-new?..coz they are dismantling some old workstations and fixing them up at the new wing? Bleargghh... Yes, packing is on-going...still a couple of stuff to clear from my current one. The other day, while packing, I was rummaging some old stuff... I was indulged in reminiscence of the old days when I was working in the old department.... and that made me miss some of my ex-colleagues... *sigh*

Just now met up with Faz to pass his stuff from HK...he's so excited to watch the DVDs which I got for him but only to be borrowed by his 'Kak Long' the minute she saw them when he placed them on his table! Kwang kwang kwang... Its okay babe, Friday is just a few more days to go! hehe.... Patience is a virtue, you know....

I can't help it but to mention over here where I find a lil solitude to express my feelings.... Currently, I'm worried sick about someone close to Bebeh and myself... Hope its nothing serious and everything is gonna be ok....in time to come... *sigh*

My last bit for this entry before I head for bed..... I got one thing to say and that is......

I MISS RIDING!!!!! Ok bye...

.:: Hong Kong ::.

Together with Zai's family, we departed to Hong Kong on 9th Dec 08 for a memorable family trip. Thanks to Zai who has made all the bookings and itenery planning, everything went well without much hiccup.

Day 1
We took an SQ flight which departed from T3 at about 8.30am and touchdown HK 3hrs later. We checked into Panorama Hotel located at Kowloon. The rest of the day was exploring the nearby streets close to our hotel. We managed to have a halal Western dinner at a Cafe owned by a Singaporean who's been living in HK for 30 years.

Day 2
After breakfast we strolled along Avenue of the Stars and took a ferry to Hong Kong Island. We then boarded a bus to Stanley Market to do a lil bit of shopping. Had our lunch at the canteen of Masjid Ammar serving delicious dim sums. The Peak was the next destination when we took the tram ride up. Spent the rest of the day at The Peak visiting Madam Tussaud's Wax Museum and we were there till sunset to adore the majestic view of HK from the top.

Day 3
Almost the whole day was spent at Ocean Park. This was where Ilyas had his first experience of roller coaster ride! Due to my 'still recovering' condition, I skipped the thrill rides only having to take those kiddy rides ..hehe! We then managed to catch the Symphony of the Lights which was scheduled at 8pm every night.

Day 4
This was D day for shopping! After filling up our stomachs with breakfast, we took the MTR and headed to Citygate, where all the factory outlets for most brands like Espirit, Addidas, Nike, City Chain, Giordano, etc could be found. Then we went to Flower Market Street and nope, we were not searching for flowers but instead a Helmet Shop! Checked out the latest Shoei designs and compared prices against the ones found in Spore...Seemed to be on a slightly higher side in HK..and it was not worth to buy...We then took a cab to Lung Kong Road to try out the delicious halal Chinese food found there. Then, not giving up, we went to another nearby shop to check out on Arai helmets and by then, the thought to buy a helmet from HK has diminished! Instead, we went to Ladies Market to do our souvenir shopping.

Day 5
We bid goodbye to Panarama Hotel and checked into Disney's Hollywood Hotel. Yes, Disneyland was a magical experience indeed and of course, where all the temptations to finish up our money never really stopped! We spent the whole day at Disney, darting from Fastasyland to Adventureland and to Tomorrowland throughout the day till it was time to view the fireworks at 9pm.

Day 6
All packed but not really ready to head back to Singapore. We spent the last few hours taking photos and strolling around the hotel's vicinity. We've enjoyed so much of our stay at HK and especially the weather, made me feel so sad to leave the country. Like it or not, our flight was at 4pm and 3hrs later, I was 'thrown' back to face reality!....

So click here for the rest of the pics...please pardon me as there's quite a number of pics taken! Record breaking of the most pics taken during a vacation. Couldn't help it coz too many good views not to be missed and too many sweet memories needed to be captured!

.:: Private Preview ::.

Zul Big Bird has given some of us free passes to a private preview of luxury cars & bikes. It was organised by Hong Seh, the agent for the luxury vehicles like, Ferrari, Maserati, MV Agusta, Cagiva, etc.

So yesterday together with his family we headed to Marina, the Pit Builiding which used to host the recent Spore F1. Most of the time we were at the VIP viewing gallery, eating the free flow of food and drinks while enjoying the view...

.:: Panic At The Disco? ::.

Hahaha.... what a title for an entry in the wee hours of the morning!

Yes, I'm close to panicking.... coz I've yet to pack the luggage for our upcoming vacation... coz its so not of me.

I'm the type who would prefer to pack early so that I'll have time to think and plan on what stuff to bring... I hate last minute packing coz I'm pretty sure that I'll likely forget to bring something! Bah!

Hokay... lemme get some sleep and will start and hopefully to finish packing before Sunday comes! Hahaha macam real aje!

*Hyperventilates* Its ok Yani... Inhale...Exhale! Take a deep breath and everything is gonna be ok... Don't worry, you won't miss out on anything...
