.:: Rest In Peace ::.
In the afternoon, I was busy packing for the trip when my handphone rang. It was Bebeh and he was at Yus' crib sorting out maps and stuff.
In a grim voice, he told me that Ahmad Hayabusa has passed away yesterday. My heart skipped a beat.... Innalillahi wa inna ilaihi roji'un....
He was involved in a fatal accident near Bangkok with a local rider at about midnight. He was riding alone and likely to be travelling up to Laos and/or Cambodia. He has previously attempted to ride alone till the Golden Triangle and Mae Hong Son.
Knew him from Rezki and he's a nice chap, one of my Multiply contacts and he didn't get a chance to celebrate his birthday on 9th Jan which is only a few days away. Its less than a year another friend from the Hayabusa group has lost his life in a tragic road accident.....
Life is so fragile *sigh*
Learnt from SingaporeBikes website that the family is arranging to bring back the body by tomorrow. Here's the link...
My deepest condolence to the family and friends of Ahmad Rahid
Semoga Allah mencucuri rahmat ke atas rohnya, insya Allah.
May you rest in peace and you will be remembered always....

.:: A Good Start ::.
Heya peeps! 2007 come & go like a breeze. For a start, 2008 has been kind to me...yeah I know, its too early to say coz its like only 4 days into 2008....But, what the heck coz I'm on a holiday mood already....Wohoo!!!
Ilyas is settling well in school coz he's back in the same school, studying in the same classroom and he is with the same classmates. I wonder if he sits at the same desk....hhmmm....
My work is as always, never ending but I'll managed & scrape through....Anyway, next Monday & Tuesday I'll be on course so...its like an extended weekend and my brain will be on relax mode....
So that leaves me with only 3.5 days of work before I leave for the much awaited riding trip for a whole solid 2 weeks!!! Yippee-yai-yey....
Enough for now...Weekend has begun and its time for my ginger tea and maybe a cold lime drink at Rezki...
Have a great weekend peeps!
