.:: Birthday & Anniversary ::.
Ah at last, I've got some time to spare to load Bebeh's & Mama's bithday pics which I took on last Thursday nite...
Then on Friday nite, Zai & Nas have bought a cake for Bebeh when we were over at Rezki... Thx Zai & Nas for your kind thoughts....

Oh, before I forget, here's a video of the staff from Straits Kitchen singing a birthday song and presenting a cake to Bebeh when we had dinner there last week....
And not enuff with all these candle blowing & cake cutting ceremony, yesterday, together with his secondary school frens, we went to Sakura at Clementi Woods to have dinner and celebrate the birthdays of Bebeh, Zali (who happens to have the same birth date as my mom) and Wati who's b'day is today....

.:: Weekend Is Here! ::.
Been pretty busy lately with work....and I miss blogging! So many stuff to write about but so little time to do so.... but its ok coz....MY WEEKEND HAS BEGUN! WHEEEEE......
I'm on leave tomorrow as there's this Parent-Teacher Conference at my son's school and hope to get a belated birthday present for my Bebeh.... See? Even I've got no time to buy prezzie for my Bebeh....
Its his birthday today.....we had a mini celebration earlier at my parents'...combined celebration with my Mom's, whose birthday will be on this Saturday.... I shall post the pics soon....
Meanwhile let me catch up on some sleep which I'm deprived of for the past few nights...and have a great weekend ahead!

Last nite, together with Mang Pari's family, BIL & SIL we had buffet dinner at Straits Kitchen located at the Grand Hyatt.Well, what was the occasion? BIL & SIL wanted to give us all a treat...

.:: Mother's Day ::.
Today is Mother's Day but there isn't any special celebrations for me and my family...but still, today I get the best treat for a mother's day.....
Its the much needed long afternoon nap! Ahakz! I'm all rejuvenated for another week to battle at work!
I've never really celebrated Mother's Day all these years....coz the month of May is already a month of celebrations for me....
This is the month where my dad, my mom & my Bebeh celebrated their birthdays! And to top it all up, its also the month we celebrated our wedding anniversary!
Pssstt....it all means that this is the month of the year where I get really broke! kekekekeke.....

.:: Today In History ::.
This morning I went to Court...Not Courts where you buy furniture but Court as in the Subordinate Court...
No, I wasn't there to attend a trial for any form of charges, CHOY!
But it was a last minute instruction from my officer & Unit Head on Monday evening to send me as my company's representative or rather department's rep to be one of the witnesses for one of the cases which we put up for court action....
Indeed it was my 1st experience as a witness and I got this stinking feeling that there'll be more to come for in the future...
Luckily, the questions for me were direct & simple as our Court Prosecutor (Our company's rep) has roughly briefed me before the Pre-Trial Conference on the questions which he would be asking me.... Thank God, there wasn't any grueling questions from the Judge either! And better still, Defence Council wasn't around too....
However, I find it rather time wasting to be stuck in court for half a day as our case was being pushed to the last in the list and only having to stand in the witness stand for less than 10 minutes... Btw, case was adjourned to another 3 weeks which luckily, I don't need to attend!
But its ok...at least, its a new learning experience for me....and today is a history in the making for me to attend Sub Court as a witness for the 1st time!

On 2nd May, our dear friend, Nanie has safely given birth to a handsome baby boy, weighing 2.7kg at NUH....RUSYAIDI is his name & here's a cute pic of him....

Then on the following day, Papa celebrated his 56th birthday...

Alhamdulillah I have returned from my 12 days of umrah together with 10 other family members....
Syukur, everything went well... It was an amazing and theraputic experience indeed...

There were many occasions I shed my tears and amongst which;
I cried the 1st time I heard the unison of voices reciting 'Amin' in my 1st subuh at Masjidil Nabawi...
I cried when I managed to pray in the 1st row at Raudhah after going thru a sea of women....
I cried when I conducted my last visit at Makam Rasulallah before leaving Madinah for Mecca....praying to Allah not to make this my last visit to the Makam....
I cried upon I laid my eyes on the Majestic Ka'abah for the 1st time.....It was a stunning view indeed....after all these years, this is the Ka'abah, the direction for the whole Islamic world to head to when we conduct our five time prayers a day....
I cried after kissing the Hajar Aswad twice during my stay at Mecca...
And I cried when I conducted my Tawaf Wada' (the goodbye tawaf before leaving Mecca), again praying hard to Allah not to make this my last visit, instead hoping for more visits to come to perform more Umrahs and my Haj perhaps....
Although it was physically tiring with the lack of sleep, never had I felt so contented, so serene and so much closer to Allah.... It was beyond description of feelings and atmosphere....
Highly recommended for all Muslims who has the financial ability....You will find your peace and serenity over there, insya Allah...
One day, with God's will I will return to Mecca & Madinah again...Insya Allah
