.:: Bad Week ::.
Its been a bad week for my son, Ilyas...1st it was diarrhoea, vomiting & fever....
Then fever was gone, diarhoea & vomiting persist but slowly improving....
Last nite something else appear....
Hives or 'Gegata' came for a visit....
And now he's been scratching non-stop!
Just came back fr the Doctor & he explained that the vomitting & diarrhoea could be related to the late appearance of the hives....but he was glad to see Ilyas active again....
He already missed a week of school and I've only turned up for a half day's of work (yesterday) for this whole week.....
Next week is a week of catching up with school & work for the both of us...
Bleargggh....

.:: Sick Son ::.
Being able to blog at this hour would only means that I'm at home....Ilyas is not well since Sunday...my poor baby!
He's been vomiting, having diarrhoea & a slight fever....
Visited the doctor yesterday morning and his diarrhoea has stopped, except for the vomitting sessions and seeing him retching even if there's nothing to vomit really tormented me...
Anything that goes into the mouth will come within a few minutes....We could only try to make him take porridge and soupy stuff in sips....
He has lost weight in this short span of time and all that baby fats build up in months gone just like that in a couple of days....*sigh*
If by tonight there's no improvement, we'll have to visit the dr again....
Do get well soon, darling...Ibu misses your chirpyness & kecohness!

Over the weekend, we had a short getaway at Aloha Loyang Chalet.... away from our hectic schedules and for once away from Rezki coffeeshop on a Fri nite...
We had karaoke, gossip sessions, delicious food & movie marathons...

.:: Windows Vista ::.
I've already received my DVDs for Windows Vista upgrade for a couple of days, delivered right up to my doorsteps...
Its currently being packed in a 'bubble-like' envelope, stashed amongst other junks on my computer table....
I've yet to upgrade my operating system to Vista, feeling kindof heavy-hearted.... Having to hear the negative reviews and feedback about Vista made me even feel more hesitant...
So how? I dunno...
For how long Vista have to wait? I dunno too...
For now, my lappie seems to work well with Windows XP...
Maybe Windows Vista can wait, for a little while...

It was a last minute decision....Just half an hour before my lunch break...
I messaged him and he readily agreed to have lunch with me....
Its been a while we had not gone for a lunch date during working hours.....

We went to Swenson's for lunch as we've got this voucher which is expiring in a week's time...
And yup, I had the all time favourite of Cray Fish Pasta....

Yesterday, on a sunny Saturday....
Located at Mandai Orchid Garden....
Such a lovely setting amongst the beautiful orchids...
Congratz to Abby & Mimi...may you have a blissful marriage ahead
Then we went to Scape Park opposite of Cineleisure to watch the Motorcross together with brothers, sisters-in-law, relatives & friends.....
And ending our night together by having dinner at Mad Jack...
Ah... such fun time we had....

.:: The Wedding ::.
Ah....at last, I've managed to post the pics & compile a video montage for Nizam & Norliah's wedding....Everything went well, they were solemnised on Saturday 'dgn sekali lafaz', Alhamdullilah...
The only glitch that occured last minute, was the Wedding Car, Mr Mercedes, decided to 'throw tantrums' with the right rear tyre and rim..... Luckily my dad's car was available and Mr Toyota Wish came to help.... Phew!
On the Nizam's big day on Sunday, everything went well, my dad's car was decorated, the food was in abundance and the guests came non-stop....
It brought tears to my eyes listening to Bebeh singing the song 'Ibu' in the Sunday morning before the guests arrived....
I shed another tear when I saw Bebeh giving the honour of Silat Pengantin to his youngest brother....
And again I was crying seeing the Bride & Groom having to shake hands with all the groom's maternal uncles & aunts at the dais as its normally done by the parents of the bride & groom....
Since Mak & Pakcik has left us, Bebeh initiated the move to get all of our maternal uncles & aunts to have the honour and it was a touching experience for all of us....

.:: I'm Back! ::.
Hi Peeps!...I'm back after missing in action over the weekend....Nizam's & Norliah's wedding went well, alhamdulillah....and I've got loads of pics to post... but not today, ya?!
I'm still too tired to edit the pics.... the mood's not here yet for me to focus in editing & posting the pics but I promise pics will be up in a few days' time....
Meanwhile, need to catch up on some sleep which I'm lack of since Friday.... and btw, gotto return back to work tomorrow!

.:: Countdown Begins ::.
Tomorrow will be my last working day for the week....Fri onwards I'll be busy with last minute preparations of Nizam's (my bro-in-law) wedding....whose big day is over the weekend...
Hopefully everything will be alright..... The bridegroom seems alright, everything is according to plan and may it be a smooth sailing affair over this weekend, insya Allah...

.:: BBQ, Swimming & Shopping ::.
Since weekend, its been a busy schedule for me so here's a quick update....On Saturday, Ogy & Azhar has organised a BBQ at Changi so off we went.... only to return home almost to 4am!

With less than 4hrs of sleep, we sent Ilyas to his 2nd swimming lesson at CCK Swimming Complex..... I was hoping for him to say a "No" when I woke him up & asked if he wanted to attend the swimming class..... Blearghhh!
My poor son was still too sleepy for swimming lesson and furthermore his buddy, Bukhairi was absent which made him even crankier during the 1 hour lesson! Chet! If we knew, we would prefer going back to sleep rather than having to persuade him to swim & to let go from clinging onto the handrails!
Then rest of the day was catching up on sleep.... its been a while we had long afternoon nap on a Sunday....At night, went to accompany my bro-in-law & future sis-in-law to choose their bridal outfit & wedding decorations at Jurong West.....
As for today, accompanied Norliah to shop for her corsett & girdle at Robinsons..... While she was busy trying out stuff, I managed to capture this comfy corner of the changing room at the lingerie corner....... It was so comfy that it almost made me wanna sleep on the inviting seat!

6 Weird Things I Do:
I don't eat raisins.... but I do eat grapes.... if there's any raisins in the bun or cake I'm eating, I'd rather remove them before eating the cake or bun....
Be it rain or shine, cold or hot, snow or summer, I MUST sleep with a blanket.... .... but once asleep, blanket ke mana orangnya pon ke mana... hehe (I think Om has the same item as mine....so maybe we may not be weird afterall)
Used to help a fren to collect matchboxes when I travelled but since we seldom meet, I ended up collecting the matchboxes for myself and for the sake of collecting....
I love to accompany friends for shopping and would give them suggestions on things that they would want to buy BUT I hate to shop with my friends .... I'd rather shop alone and rather not have anyone influence on what I want to buy....
There are times when I wanted to get something from somewhere, I'd totally forget what I wanted by the time I reached the place.....in order to remember, I'd go back to the original location just to recall my memory....
I love to pillion ride......anytime, anywhere...but I hate or rather some would say that I'm a scardy cat to drive or take up motor bike lessons....
Ok I'm done with the 6 weird stuff that I do.....Don't know if u peeps, find them weird or not, but if they are not, then like my cuzzin, emiliAduka (http://emiliaduka.blogspot.com/) said, maybe I'm not a weirdo afterall!
So who's my 6 victims gonna be? Hahaha... *Evil laugh*
