.:: Itchy Scratchy Me! ::.

Yes, I'm at home where I didn't expect to be especially on a cool breezy Monday.... *grins* but I'm glad for sure!

Woke up this morning as usual, getting ready to work but discovered that Hives (Gegata) started to appear while I was taking the shower....urrrggh!! Then it turns out to be itchy....and controlled myself not to scratch too much or it could get worse....

Dunno how I got the Hives this time coz last night I was alright....Previously, I got it (few years back) was when I wore a jacket (made of partial wool) and got caught in the rain.....so my skin couldn't take it and the hives appeared! Luckily, this time round its not that bad & I can still refrain myself from scratching....

If you are wondering what's a Hive (no, got nothing to do with beehives) or a 'Gegata' called in Malay, you can read up this link (Click Me) from the National Skin Centre....coz I'm no expert in explaining....only expert in scratching! hehehehe....

.:: m-a-n ::.

Came back to check on my son's school diary and learnt that he got to learn spelling for this school term! I was almost hysterical as I knew my son hasn't recognised much of the alphabets & let alone to learn SPELLING!!!

But knowing a child at his age, nothing is impossible if you are able to motivate him & capture his learning abilities....so I decided to give it a go...my own way....

He'll be having spellings every week from Aug onwards and each week there's 3 words for him to learn....and the for the upcoming week he gotto learn words like :

1) man
2) tap
3) dam

It took me sometime to get him to learn how to write & remember to spell the word 'm-a-n'....I used my own ways to teach him to write like 'up-down-up' for 'm'....'pusing & tutup' for 'a'....'up-down' for 'n'....

I know its funny how these key words made him remember each alphabets for him to write but it seemed to work.....

And at the end of his spelling lesson, he even managed to learn how to write 't-a-p' too! So now I'm left with 1 last word to teach him tomorrow....

.:: Riding Trip ::.

After almost 5 months of hiatus from riding (due to his corneal transplant saga) ....my bebeh managed to ride again, Alhamdullilah!

2 BMWs & 3 Africa Twins went for a short ride to Rompin and Mersing yesterday....

We tried checking out for great places to hang out at Rompin but it seems it was a sleepy town compared to Mersing....

So we decided to ride back to Mersing for a late lunch at our favourite bistro....and this is already our 3rd visit....

The ambience and food were great so we kept returning.....

Everything went well and the Africa Twin riders have improved in their riding skills, as commented by Bebeh and hopefully there'll be more riding trips to come.....

I've just got back from work.....yes! I was in the office till 9.45pm & took a cab home!

Data is mostly uploaded & only about 80% confident abt the accurateness of the system.....

But what the hell....I DON'T GIVE A DAMN!

I've had enuf of cleaning other people's SHIT!!!

I cringed when my Unit Head told me just before lunch that Auditors are checking our records (again!).....That 5 letter word simply send shivers down my spine and made me lost my appetite!

A.U.D.I.T....Urrgghhh!!!.....

We knew that we are gonna be grilled by those auditors again....and there goes my whole week.....more late nights at work, I suppose.....

Still could remember the last round of audit, we had to rush stuff and I had to stay up till almost midnight in the office with my colleague....just the 2 of us.....and it was creepy, I tell ya!

Oh please, God....don't let history repeat itself.....hopefully the IT expert from my dept would be able to upload the data by tomorrow morning & let me just go thru them at random.....(how I wish its that simple!)

.:: What Da Fish? ::.

I've been noticing one of my parrot fish has a funny habit of sleeping VERTICALLY!....yes, fish do sleep, u noe....

This particular one love to sleep among the plastic aquatic plants which I've placed in the fish tank.... and at times I would even caught a glimpse of it sleeping upside down!

Initially I thought my fish was dead but when I tap the glass fish tank it would move quickly into the corner with another 2 of its species....

Today was payday....with the mid year bonus and all.....
Morning.....very the kaya...
By lunch time....da kayap!

Transfer account sini....selit pat account sana....So its back to square 1....Left with the same amt to spend till the next payday....

Anything that I'm eyeing for to pamper myself with my hard earn money?....Not too sure yet.....thot of getting another transition specs...or maybe a change of hairstyle......or get that N80 which I've been droolin' abt.....

Seriously, I can't afford to get ALL of the above and I hate choosing......so we'll wait and see till my mood to spend my bonus comes and I'll blog about it.....meanwhile....

Let me shower and proceed to dreamland.....btw, my tummy doesn't feel too well the whole day.....bleaghh!!

.:: The Azzurri Got It! ::.

At last my final choice of team to win the World Cup was correctly predicted and my dear fren can still keep his hair...hahaha!

The only disappointment in the final match was with Zidane who was suppose to leave his last international match with dignity but instead was sent off with a red card when he did the unexpected....

Watched the Final at Jali's place again and Ilyas has captured the moment of these few of us doing the cheers, jeers and sneers.....and most of us were like struggling to keep ourselves awake when the match was dragged to extra time & penalty shoot out....But the wait was worthwhile...

Finally, as an added bonus, it was raining this morning which made our much needed sleep so sweet just like the victory of the Azzurri....

.:: My Choice Revealed.... ::.

Last night had supper with frens at JB...went to Anjung Warisan for the 1st time....Do go to my multiply for a sneek a peek at the pics....

Alrite! It seems that every choice of teams I made from the past few matches are the LOSING TEAMS! So what's my choice for the final? France or Italy?

Frankly speaking, I dunno which team to choose cause I find both are equally great & that's why they are in the final, duh?! Ok seriously....I was looking around for answers to come up with my choice of country....Looking around for signs since I'm not a soccer guru nor can I make good predictions for the past few matches....bleeaagh!

And I found this, hung on my workstation for more than a month! Even prior to the kickoff of the World Cup.....Got this when I signed up for a credit card and they gave out these as part of the promotion gimmicks....

I didn't choose this country but the souvenir was being shoved to me by the staff attending to me & there wasn't much left.....so could that be a sign? A sign which I failed to see when its right in front of my nose all these while?

I could be wrong in the prediction again but what the heck...Unlike our dear fren, Jali...at least I didn't bet to shave off my hair like Zidane's if France won....hehehe!

.:: Family Outing ::.

This morning together with my parents, bro & Imah went to JB to collect our tailor made baju kurungs.....For the 1st time we went out as a complete family eva since my bro got married....

Then we headed to Tebrau City (Jusco), a newly opened shopping centre which none of us had been there before.....Not bad for a shopping centre that is not located at the heart of JB....Some of the branded stores are found there and we didn't finish exploring the whole place...

Had lunch at AyamMas....which made me miss Kenny Roger's Roast Chicken even more.....and made a stopover at Gelang Patah before headed home.....The durians there were too tempting and couldn't leave Gelang Patah without buying some.....and they tasted YUMMYLICIOUS!!!

The photos are uploaded in my multiply....sorry, in a hurry so no pics shown in this entry....getting ready to meet Bebeh's frens to have supper at JB again before going to Jali's place for this morning's match between Germany & Portugal....

Personally, I badly wanted Portugal to win this match but I guess, the Germans need some consolation since they host the World Cup and they need this 3rd placing more badly than the Portugese.....hehe...

We'll see... & may the deserving team wins! (Oh God! Please let Portugal win! hehehe....)

.:: Sleepyhead... ::.

My body is beginning to take its toll for the lack of sleep I've got due to World Cup watching for the past few nights and the durian outing we went with Bebeh's frens last night.....hehehe....

My head is beginning to throb mildly but going to be at a full blast soon if I don't get enough sleep...real soon!

My mood is kindof cranky and I'd easily snap off esp at Bebeh for trivial matters.....

So, before the battle of staying awake begin again for tomorrow & Sunday, I hope to get some beauty sleep to replenish the much needed energy for shouting, jeering, sneering & all other 'rings' which I can't think off during the 3rd & 4th placings match and the Big Final as well......

Btw, I'll be on leave on Monday either to rejoice or regret on the result of the final match.....

Which team I'm rooting for? Do wait for my next entry coz too tired & sleepy to elaborate this time round....

So toodles & let me juz snore my way to dreamland before going out for a late night supper later tonight......

Ok...ok...the Germans have lost in the match early this morning.....and the Italians have crushed their dreams of being in the final....blegghh!

Anyway, I did woke up and managed to stay awake for the 1st half and was in & out of dreamland during the 2nd half onwards.....I was quite aware that the match was dragged into extra time.....but can't keep myself awake till...

Bebeh shouted "GOAL!!!" and after that it was history......Italians scored another shot not long after the 1st goal......

Alrite, time to move on ......

For the past 2 nites been at Jali's place to watch the World Cup quarter finals till the wee hours in the morning......

Reached home near to 6am and off to dreamland before waking up in the late afternoon.....

Isn't life a bliss? hehehe....except that Brazil is out of this World Cup! Bleghh.....& which country deserve my support to be the next World Cup Champion?....

Hmmmm.....

Germany? Coz they are playing at homeground with all the support they nead? And they were the runner's up in the last World Cup or...

Italy? Got not much of a reason for me to support them except for their tall, dark & handsome players.....hehehe....or...

France? They played well last night esp having a captain like Zidane who's footwork was superb.......or...

Portugal? The team that crushes the England's dream to the semi final and having this God-sent player whom they called in last night's match as the Tormentor of England....Cristiano Ronaldo....
