I'm very good at procastinating.....

Be it in clearing my workload, plan the upcoming family vacation and to the very simple of making an online application on a certain membership.... ....You just name it and I'll procastinate over it......

Just damn good at it that I should be getting the "Best Procastinator" award, if there's any!!!!

I'm simply out of focus! Damn It!!!!

.:: Hijrah & X-Men ::.

Yesterday morning, brought Ilyas to school as his teacher wanted him to be involved in the photoshoot of the upcoming Hijrah's advertisement in the Berita Harian....together with 2 other parents & students...

So even they took a couple of the parents pics (alone, urrgh!) and shots together with our children.....

It was some simple shots and we parents got to list down the couple of things we noticed since our kids attended Hijrah Kindergarten....which they gonna use as quotes (after being edited & spiced up by the school staff, of course!) in the ad....

Also learnt fr his teacher that the previous video shoot of Ilyas for Jakarta's ad went well and his pic was all over the video and the banners which they placed at the 3 newly open kindergartens in Jakarta.....

I requested his teacher to show me the pics or even give us a copy of the video shoot if she's able to get them....didn't know that my son is almost famous among his peers in Jakarta! hehehe....mcm ni bole collect royalty....

Anyway, when the ad in berita harian is out, I'll update my blog for sure....and here's what was done in school yesterday....

In the evening, we went to watch "X-Men 3 : The Last Stand" after attended a wedding...

This is the final installment of the X-Men movies and the show was far better the than the previous one....However, some of the main characters died in this last sequel.....so sad.... go and watch it yourself to find out more....

p.s - I've changed my video again.....this song 'Don't Speak' fr No Doubt is one of my old time favourites...

I'll make it short...

On Sunday, its really nice and unexpected when someone returns back what he owns to the contributor.....Alhamdulliah extra kechings....

On Monday, it was 2 of my friends birthday.....so here's a quick bday shoutout....Happy Birthday to Haiza & Hazlina.....May you have a pleasant journey thru life and may u have all the bliss that the world can offer u.....

After work, went to Wati's chalet at Downtown East....took some pics but unable to download as my CF card is at work.....darn!

Today, received bad news that one of my colleagues' hubby passed away while he was at work.....so took half day leave to help her out at her home....Stay strong, Kak Milah and smoga Allah mencucuri rahmat ke atas roh suamimu....

Tomorrow....is Bebeh's birthday....frankly speaking, there's no present for him.....just a little prayer for his well being and most likely we'll cut a cake and share it with our family....

And I've still got Ilyas' school project (Portfolio of Family Vacation) which needs to be done & submitted by Fri......Uuurrrggghhhh!!!

.:: Sick Slacker ::.

I'm a SICK SLACKER!!!! Apart of being sick in health with cough & flu, I'm getting slack with my work....

Because that I'm sick, I got no mood with work and thats when the slack comes in....Uuurrrggggghhh!!!

So many things to do yet no mood to complete my work......

I'm getting CRANKIER....

I'm getting CRAPPIER....

And I'm getting CRAZIER....

La di da di da la la......

Anyway, when I fetched my son in the evening, he was throwing tantrums and whining, wanting us to buy for him his favourite soft squid & breaded prawns from Old Chang Kee.....

So I made a deal with him and willing to buy those stuff if he would sit at the back of the van (storage area) rather than on my lap and his abah would bring us to Old Chang Kee....

And unexpectedly, he agreed! Sitting happily at the back of the van and even willing to sit there again on our way back home!!! All these while, he's simply refused to sit alone at the back coz he's a scardy cat......

The signs of my son growing up is so obvious and yet in my eyes, he's still my baby.....

Like I've always said, please don't grow up so fast darling, coz ibu can't can't catch up!!! *coughing & panting*

.:: Getting Better ::.

Bebeh went for his eye check up this afternoon......it was supposed to be next week but since he lost one of his eye drops in the bus coming back fr Colmar, he changed his appointment.....

His eye is getting better and Prof had reduced the amount of eyedrops and his vision is improving....in the last checkup, abt 3 weeks ago his vision was approx -5.00 and today its -4.00.....and there's still room for improvement...insya Allah.

He has also gotten letter from Prof to make a new pair of glasses...so its shopping time.... Yippee!!!

Alhamdullilah....

.:: Cough & Flu ::.

Yes, I'm at home resting (on MC, again!) coz I've been under the weather lately.....the nasty cough is just back and won't budge after taking bottles of cough mixture & tablets....

And guess what? Flu decided to accompany the cough this time round....I'm still coughing and with a blocked nose to add things worse....

So that's explain why I'm kindof crappy during my Colmar vacation.....

Heya!!!! I'm back from Colmar......it was a great place with picture postcard sceneries and the weather was not as cool as I expected it to be.....

We took a bus there and had to do a transfer at Genting Highlands and here's a pic showing my son .... simply out of boredom & waiting for himself to fall asleep on the long hours in the bus....

So we had the whole Saturday to venture Colmar and we visited the these few places ....

I didn't got the time to update my blog yesterday as we went for a drink and a chat session with bebeh's old skool frens at West Coast's McD till midnite!!!

So here's a the latest edition to Julia's family tree.... a cute bundle of joy who weighs 2.82kg and arrived on 10 May 06....someone who made mommy's colleagues panic on the eve of his arrival.....Mommy was sent to the hospital from office and only to learn that it was a false alarm.....hehehe...

.:: Kepochis & Blind Date ::.

Earlier today, Kak Lo was asking if I've got plans for lunch and as usual a "No" answer fr me.... She wanted me to accompany her and have lunch at McD.....

She got all excited as she learnt that her cousin, who is one of our colleagues was going to have a blind date.....news reached her that her cousin was meeting the guy for the 1st time....and Kak Lo was so excited!!!! *eyes roll*

So being kepochis during lunch, we headed for McD just to satisfy my dear Kak Lo's excitement....and guess what?

There were 3 other colleagues having lunch there (but of course all of us were sitting many tables apart fr Kak Lo's cousin) and they were there to give her 'moral support' .....hehehe....

Talk abt blind dates, remind me of my younger days when I used to go for blind dates.....the excitement and the turn offs after seeing the guy for the 1st time....hahaha....Time really flies and age is really catching up with me... *sigh*

Anyway, it seems that my dear colleague's blind date today ended well as she was in a cheerio mood after lunch!

I've still not recovered from the dry cough and visited the dr for the 3rd time .....hopefully the new medication works...coz I'M TIRED OF COUGHING!!!

On a lighter note, by Fri I'll be on a bus to somewhere in the cool mountains surrounded by beautiful scenery of the Colmar.....pphftt! And today is only Monday.... *sigh*

Colmar...Colmar...Colmar!!! Alrite, I ought to do something better like watching TV or sleeping rather than typing ramblings in my blog.....

The heat is on as its Voting Day!

Today, 1.22 million Singaporeans will be going out to vote and I'm not in that group of people....boo hoo.... So still zero, zilch, kosong voting experience for me....

Results will only be up after 10pm.....which reminds me, most of my colleagues are involved in ensuring that the voting system runs smoothly....hahaha...poor them! Especially those who are counting the votes, good luck & better pray that nobody demands for a re-count! hehee....

Yes....I've been practically croaking for the past few days.....HELP!!! Gimme back my voice.....

I'm tired from coughing badly, I'm tired from straining myself to be heard....and I'm tired of listening to my own croaky voice.....

I've just seen the dr fr the clinic at my voideck and he's changed my cough mixture....hopefully it will cure my cough and hopefully I can get a good rest for tonight (been losing some sleep lately, with the coughing & spitting in the middle of the nite)

.:: Sick Tuesday ::.

I didn't sleep well last night....the cough got worse, my body aches and my throat hurts like hell!!.....but managed to drag myself to work....

Aborted the idea of getting an MC for today as the clinic was so crowded in the morning and besides that, my officer and sidekick were clearing their half day time off.....

After lunch the cough got even worse and I sounded like a transvestite!!! Hahaha.....so deep and husky voice I've got....and straining myself to be heard each time I spoke.....

And worst still, forgetting abt my cough, I took pineapples (looks too juicy & delicious till I forgot abt the cough) for lunch and it aggreviated my cough....Ended up not finishing the slice of pineapple coz kena cheated by the looks....it tasted SOUR!!! Blegghhh.....

Finally managed to visit the dr in the late afternoon and I didn't even realised till the dr told me that I've got fever.....so she gave me some antibiotic, medicine and an MC for tomorrow.....

The past few days I've been wondering and discussing with Bebeh that we couldn't find any PAP or opposition posters being hung around our estate's street lamps or any space they can find.....(compared to other estates that are supposed to vote)....

My question was answered when I saw the Newsletter from our GRC in our letterbox.....We belong to Holland-Bt Timah GRC instead of Bukit Panjang SMC.....meaning since last week's nomination day, our GRC was announced a WALKOVER!!! Hahahaha.......No wonder takde publicity between PAP & opposition party.....Sloggy sey aku!!!

There goes my chance to vote for the first time.....

.:: Undying Love ::.

It was a last minute thingy when bebeh mentioned that he wanted to visit his mom's grave to do some cleaning & grass cutting.....

When we reached there, we saw dried roses spread evenly on her grave....Knewing very well that those roses were from Cik Rahman (my step dad-in-law)......

He never failed to visit her grave every week ever since she left us last July......his undying love for her seems to move me for today....it brought tears to my eyes thinking on his efforts to come every week and with roses to lay on her grave, knowing very well that red roses were her favourite.....

It made me ponder for a while that if I am to meet God earlier than bebeh, will he do the same thing like Pakcik did for Mak? Visit her grave every week and pray for her well-being on the other side, in every of his prayers (which I'm sure he did...) or will I be doing the same thing if bebeh is to leave me first?

Frankly speaking..... I dunno....
