.:: Itchy Scratchy Throat ::.
Woke up in the morning with an itchy scratchy throat.....the phlegm & cough are building up.... Uurrrggghhhh!Ilyas was not even better than me and his cough got worse too.....so brought him back to the dr this morning.....and he got loads of medicine!
My body's beginning to ache too and I'm in no mood to get out of the house (got a wedding to attend in the afternoon...uuurrrgghh!)
Maybe just let me crawl back into bed for a while and a nap would do me some good before attending the wedding......

.:: Weekend Is Here ::.
Few days back, bought for Ilyas a new swimming attire as he has outgrown the old one and here's his pics in action.....
Then yesterday, went to my late mom-in-law's place and its been 2 months since we last visited Pakcik (my step dad-in-law).....So for a comeback celebration, Bebeh & Nizam treated us to seafood dinner....

I've just reached home from doing a couple of errands since morning and here's a list of places & things we did for today...
- Went to CCK Lot 1, while bebeh bought season parking ticket, Ilyas and I bought breafast at CCK
- Visited Dr Ong's clinic as bebeh's Gout medications has run out of supply
- Wanted to pay the road tax at Bt Batok Viacom but the queqe was damn long and we left the place
- Swap our old starhub set-top boxes at Orchard Rd and upgraded our cable TV channels
- Bebeh made payment for his bike installment at Kaki Bukit
- Made road tax payment and lunch at Breeks in Ang Mo Kio
- Head back to Bt Batok to have haircuts for bebeh & Ilyas
- Grocery shopping nearby our home before heading back......

After listing out all the things we did for today, I suddenly feel so tired and juz let me log off from this blog and I'm sure watching TV (with new digital TV channels added) is a good form of therapy and relaxation.....hehehe....

After being missing in action for 2 months, my dearest bebeh is back in the driver's seat! It feels so good to be sitting inside his company's van again (although its small and Ilyas is getting heavier sitting on my lap!)

We went to Bukit Panjang Plaza hoping to make a new pair of glasses for bebeh but unfortunately, the kind optometrist from Specticle Hut advised him not to do the glasses first as bebeh's vision is still fluctuating ..... and told him to come back again for an eye check in a month's time....

No lar.... its not the French or the Swiss Alps we're heading....but instead, its just somewhere near Genting Highlands, known as Bukit Tinggi Colmar Tropicale Resort......We'll be there for 3D/2N......
Its simply irresistable not to go anywhere when there's an extended weekend....hehehe! Besides, bebeh was also itching to travel...Can't wait for this trip.....
Btw, bebeh is resuming his work tomorrow after being on hospitalisation leave for 2 months!!! He went for his checkup earlier today and besides the eye pressure being slightly high, everything was ok and he's recuperating well.
The doctors even allowed him to drive provided he change his current glasses....His right eye's degree of acuteness has increased to 500, compared to the old eye which was about 300+ (but its gonna be fluctuating for the next few months).....
So hoping very hard that he's gonna be alright till his next checkup in a month's time.....
Meanwhile......Colmar Tropicale Resort, here we come!!!

.:: Chosen ::.
Ilyas' teacher called me to remind me (despite she has written in his school diary) to bring his swimming attire for tomorrow. She explained that he was one of the 3 chosen students in her class to participate in a corporate shooting (for Jakarta, i think) conducted in the school.At the same time, I took the opportunity to exchange views about Ilyas with his teacher....
Me : "Teacher Lin, can I know why Ilyas was chosen for this filming session, despite the fact that I know he's the talkative type?"
Teacher Lin : (Giggles) "Well, besides Ilyas being talkative, I've chosen him because I like him!"
Me : "Oh so he's a teacher's pet la!"
Teacher Lin : (Laughs) " You can say so..."
As the conversation with Teacher Lin continues, I gotto know that my son is trying very hard to speak English in class and has shared lots of stories with his teacher (and she's enjoying the stories), even to the extend about Bebeh being unwell recently and Ilyas' recent trip to Bali......
Teacher Lin : "I learnt from Ilyas that his Abah's eye is always covered and he's in pain. Is that true?"
Me : "Yes recently had an op due to contact lens and what more did he tell you?" (I tried to probe her, further)
Teacher Lin : "I asked him further, what's wrong with his Abah's eyes and he told me "Oh Abah mata sakit pasal tengok TV banyak sangat!!!""
Muahkkahhahhahh.....well, that's my dear son, Ilyas!!!!

.:: Whheeee At Last!! ::.
Hahahaha.....at last the 'MLM Talk' is OVER! Luckily, she's not persistent enuf and not a pusher.....so I was just there listening to what she has to say about her product and after that I told her that we would consider and notify her IF we are interested to join as a member!Anyway, her product is nothing new, already established in the market and in fact, 2 of my frens ever promoted this MLM product to me......and told her that I do have frens who have introduced this product to me (hinting that I could have even joined as members if I have wanted to...)
So, its over and it doesn't hurt much (listening to the MLM talk, which I was dreading abt!) ..... hehehehe coz she's a FRESHIE (only joined for a month) and lucky me!

.:: Not In Favour ::.
So its been arranged that my bebeh's fren coming over to our place tomorrow to introduce some health product (which they claim could assist in bebeh's recuperation after the corneal transplant)Frankly speaking, I'm not in favour of such products coz we need to check wif Prof if he could take such products.....and of course their 2nd motive of introducing the product is the advantage of MLM (multi level marketing)....which I've never been keen previously or ever will....coz I'm not the MLM type of person....
Bebeh eva tried in an MLM venture and looked what happen to him now? Lazy to continue with his product and can't be bothered in finding new customers (coz Spore's too small to promote MLM stuff! once everybody use that product, that's it!)....Even my parents have MLM products which I don't even try to join, hahaha....let alone other people trying to persuade us????
But this fren of his is persistent to introduce this product and in fact (i think) bringing other frens (must be their upline) to talk abt this product...... urrgggghhh!! I just hate, sitting around and having to listen to people trying to promote their products when I'm not keen in purchasing or joining the network of MLM!!!!

.:: Itch To Travel ::.
I've changed my video clip again and this song by Christina Aguilera means a lot to me & chu (for those of you wondering, he's an old pal, way back fr sec sch and a close fren whose always been there for me)....this is OUR song.... he's in Jakarta, working for 2 weeks ....Hope he's doing fine, insya Allah...*Sigh* Public Holidays are around the corner and super long weekends....3 weeks in a row!!.....ie May Day on 01 May, General Election on 06 May (provided we can claim PH since its a gazetted holiday on a Saturday) and Vesak Day on 12 May.....
The itch to travel is beginning to bug me..... but looking at bebeh's condition which is about to stabilise, we can't afford to jeorpadise it....so NO travelling at all!
Till when? We can't confirm and bebeh's not keen to travel as he don't want to apply any leave when he's just about to start work (starting on 26 Apr) as he said that it won't look nice on him to be on leave when he's just resumed working......
So there goes my upcoming super long weekends with no plans to go anywhere except probably lazing around in front of the telly and surfing the net..... *sigh*

.:: At Last! Redeemed... ::.
After helping my old man to accumulate his Caltex points (donkey months ago), Bebeh was being requested to 'escort' him to Sim Lim Sq earlier today to redeem the digital camera.....At last, the points were redeemed for a Sony Cybershot 6.0 megapixel! Me so jealous, u know! My miserable digi cam is only 2.0 megapixel, so kuno....hahaha....but at least, its a free digi cam.....sponsored by my company!
Anyway, to show how a 6.0 megapixel photo would look like, here's a shot of my son....Took this pic when we all had dinner near my workplace....

My brother and his frens came in the late afternoon.... It was his friends' first visit to our humble home.....so all photo albums were looked thru, especially those photos on riding trips.....even Ilyas took out his basket full of toys to show off.....
*Sigh again* I miss pillion riding...... bila gak nya bole ride lagi eh??? We are beginning to feel the itch to ride again.....and we even have this crazy idea to meet this group in Penang while we fly there.....*smirk on my face*......

.:: Good Friday ::.
Today is really a GOOD Friday for me..... coz in the morning went out for breakfast at Changi Village together with my parents and Cik Mini.....Then my old man bought this for my son.....
So my dear son is now playing and practising around at home with it.... lagi kemaruk la, katakan....
Then in the afternoon, my bro & sis-in-law brought lunch for us.... Her mom cooked for our family (since their side were having a family gathering)....
So it was a gigantic crabs, prawns and delicious fish for lunch.....such seafood galore we had that I didn't have time to snap pics....It was simply yummylicious!!!!
Then my old man announced that he wanted to treat our whole family on his birthday and wanted me to book some posh restaurant for dinner ...so I suggested them to try at 'Straits Kitchen' at Hyatt Hotel....
My calender is marked for that dinner date with my family on early May....which reminds me that I need to do the reservations.....

Dragged myself to work with a splitting headache....

When you are at home, time flies..... seriously.... my body is still aching and the fever is still playing peek-a-boo with me....Still feeling weak...and i got a feeling that the temperature will rise again tonight..... aaarrrgghhhh!
Hopefully tomorrow I'll be alright.....
.:: On MC ::.
Yes...I'm at home on MC...packed with a fever, aching body and a loose bowel.....dr said its stomach flu and may have caught it from Ilyas.....Ilyas been having loose bowel for a week but he didn't complained .... However, bebeh was worried for him and wanted me to bring Ilyas to see the dr as well....
So all 3 of us are at home......my aching body.....oooh....its stil aching and luckily fever is down......last night my temperature was till 38.7 deg celcius..... can't sleep well.....
Hope to get some sleep later when the medicine starts to kick in..... Never did i experience such fever and body ache before.....its the body ache which bothers me.......
K shall stop blogging for now and let me catch up on some rest.....toodle doo....

Its been a while I've not stayed at home on weekends......and it feel so good to be able to do so and rest thru out Sat & Sun...Hhhmmmm.... I simply love to be able to wake up late on weekends and laze around without the need to rush and get ready to go elsewhere....
Been a while I've not blogged abt bebeh, well....he's doing fine and much better compared to the 1st transplant, Alhamdullilah.....hopefully this is it and may his road to recovery be smoother and faster.....insya Allah...
Felt kindof tired while typing this entry....maybe I should crawl back to bed for my afternoon nap and beauty rest.....hhhmmmm....isn't it great? :)

Bebeh is having a fever and my mom is having a stomach upset plus vomitting..... hhmmm... could be the food they took earlier.....

Have you eva seen a fren who loses patience when you asked a question coz he/she felt frustrated and thought that his/her effort to complete a task is not appreciated???Well, i did and its not a nice scene (to me)..... frankly speaking, I'm disappointed ....
Tempers flair and tantrums thrown are common etiquettes of work but i was taken aback with my fren's reaction to my simple question......

Bebeh went to SNEC this morning as his vision was not getting better..... It was a relief to hear from Prof that at the moment his vision is fluctuating and its NORMAL for it to become blur..... He wanted the inflammation to go down first before treating the eye further.... *Phew!*Ilyas returned from school with his observation report for the 1st term and see the appended attachment on what the teacher has to say about my son..... (his teacher's comments are SO OF HIM! lol)

.:: Bali & Day Surgery ::.
When I was in the plane and waiting to be flown to Bali, I was still doing my last minute SMS with bebeh as he was still stuck at SNEC....Then he gave me the bad news....which I will elaborate after giving my Bali highlights.....

Bali was never the same without my bebeh ..... *sigh*...Not much fun and also due to their Hari Raya Nyepi celebration on Thursday...we couldn't shop much and didn't enjoy as much.....felt like so little time to do so many shopping!

We reached Bali in the evening and didn't do much shopping that 1st nite....The 2nd day, shopping wasn't even complete and most shops were closed by 3pm due to the preparation of the festive celebration.....

At night, we went to watch the 'Ogo-Ogo' festival which was something like their Chingay Festival and had some drinks at the hotel's 'Centre Stage' watching some live band after that....

On Thursday (Nyepi Day), we were not allowed to travel out of our hotel and all shops were closed and there are no traffic around Bali, even the airport was closed! ....so we spent most of the day at the game arcade and swimming pool....
Luckily, there were 2 boutiques selling original products carrying brand names like 'Quicksilver', 'Billabong', 'Roxy', 'Ripcurl', etc was opened around 3pm on our last day at Bali, so managed to shop like hell and at last, managed to buy a 'Roxy' trolley bag for myself!

Ok, back to my bebeh's story......when I was in the plane he smsed me that Prof wanted to do another cornea transplant on bebeh as the existing one was not doing well..... It was a day surgery conducted yesterday morning .....
After day surgery....
This morning we went back to SNEC as Prof wanted to do a follow up check on some of his patients.....he mentioned that everything went well on the operation performed yesterday and now they would want to monitor and ensure that the inflammation would go down.....
But it seems that bebeh is complaining that his vision was not getting better by evening, it was getting blur again and we are getting kind of worried....This morning, he said that his vision was quite well and after using the eyedrops it started to deteroriate.....his next appointment will be on Tuesday but if things don't improve by tomorrow, he wants to go to SNEC for a checkup......
*sigh* I hope things will be better for him by tomorrow...... :(
